Matthew Celestial is a Canadian entrepreneur and executive strategist with a proven track record in building scalable brand platforms and high-growth consumer ventures. He is the President & CEO of STATEMENT, a modern consulting house and brand incubator that develops, scales and manages brands across beauty, wellness, media, consumer products and lifestyle sectors.

Matthew brings over a decade of multi-sector experience spanning public relations, operations, brand development and market positioning. He has advised some of the world’s most storied companies, including entertainment giants like Disney, Pixar, DreamWorks, TWC, eOne, Warner Bros. Consumer Products and Paramount Pictures, as well as industry leaders such as Corus Entertainment, Kids Can Press, Loblaw Companies, Blue Diamond Almonds, Menchie’s, Baton Rouge, Flair Airlines and Hard Rock International. His cross-functional expertise enables him to connect cultural insight with commercial outcomes, guiding brands through critical moments of launch, reinvention and expansion.

In 2024, Matthew led the global launch of Matte Equation, a wellness-first skincare brand that was quickly recognized by Yahoo Canada Life as one of the 11 Best Asian-Canadian Founded Beauty Brands to Watch in 2025. He also spearheaded the first-ever Matte Gala at the Gardiner Museum, in support of the CAMH Foundation, blending philanthropy, brand storytelling and cultural impact into a standout brand activation. Under his leadership, the brand has launched national community initiatives tied to mental wellness, recovery, and ritual—while also championing brain health and innovation in the emerging category of neurocosmetics.

Through STATEMENT, Matthew has incubated and operated a growing slate of ventures including:

  • Matte Equation, a functional skincare brand for burnout recovery.

  • Field Standard, a performance skincare brand for modern men. Skincare, simplified.

  • Brow Jones, a high-performance brow care brand for high-performance people.

  • Mayon Botanica, a natural skincare brand engineered from the volcanic soils and botanicals of the Philippines.

  • Astronut, a keto food brand specializing in functional pili nuts-based products.

  • Statement Media Network, a cross-platform media ecosystem.

Across these ventures, he applies a repeatable blueprint that merges emotional intelligence, brand clarity and operational resilience, helping companies move from concept to commercial traction with speed and staying power.

Known for his strategic creativity and systems thinking, Matthew is deeply committed to founder performance, organizational resilience and building brands that outlast trend cycles.
